Are you looking for a way to engage and entertain your children during summer vacation? Our summer camps in Orlando are a unique way for students to explore their creativity in a safe and fun environment. Dramatic Education summer camps offer programs in drama, art, musical theatre, and stagecraft. Our program will help students learn cognitive, physical, and social developmental skills that they can take with them into the classroom and beyond long after summer is over.

How Our Summer Camps Work:

Students choose two subject areas to concentrate on from the following:

  • Drama-Students will take their creativity to the next level as they learn the basics of acting, stagecraft, and musical theatre. Plus, they’ll get to perform in a live production at the end of camp.
  • Art– Students will get their hands dirty while they learn how to create art in multiple mediums like clay, pottery, painting. They’ll even get to help prepare the set for the end of summer performance!
  • Dance– Students will move their whole body around while they learn different disciplines like ballet, jazz, and hip-hop.

Each day is split into morning and afternoon sessions. Mornings will be dedicated to one discipline the student chooses while the afternoons will be dedicated to the other discipline. For example: if your child decides they want to learn about art and drama, they might spend mornings learning about theatre and acting followed by afternoons of pottery and painting.

At the end of camp, all students will participate in an end of summer show. No matter what tracks students choose, they’ll have a role in the show whether it’s acting, singing, dancing, creating the scenery, props, or programs.

Families are invited at the end of camp to see all the work students did during camp. Every student will perform in the one hour show with a half hour dance performance and/or half hour theatre performance. A showcase of the visual art students created at camp will also be displayed in the lobby before and after the performance for families to see.

Cost: $140/camp

STEAM Camp- Moss Park Elementary
July 31-August 3, 2017
Monday-Thursday 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.

How STEAM Summer Camps Works:

Similar to our theatre camps, STEAM camp will be broken up into morning and afternoon sessions. However, each day students will explore two different areas of STEAM education (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) –one in the morning and one in the afternoon. For example, one-day children might get to build a rocket in the morning class followed by a musical theatre class in the afternoon.

At the end of the week, students will get to display their work and will put on a performance for friends and family to enjoy.
